This intelligent pesticide spraying system incorporates advanced technology in the field of pesticide spraying equipment manufacturing. It is designed to efficiently move within the spraying area using an unmanned crawler mobile chassis. The system includes a visual system that can detect both plants and human presence in the spraying area. It is equipped with a control device and a spraying device, enabling automatic pesticide application on plants. This system significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of pesticide spraying, while reducing the particle diameter of pesticide residue atomization to a range of 50-200 microns.
During agricultural production, crops are susceptible to pests and diseases, making pesticide spraying a vital practice. However, the current method of manual spraying consumes a significant amount of labor, results in uneven application, and poses risks of pesticide contamination to workers. This inexpensive form factor solves the aforementioned issues.
The intelligent pesticide spraying system, depicted in Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3, is composed of a mobile chassis, a control device, and a spraying device. These components are integrated onto the mobile chassis. The control device is connected to both the mobile chassis and a high atomization pressurization device, which utilizes an air compressor to generate a powerful air flow. This air flow breaks up the liquid pesticide and delivers it to the back of the crop surface. This method replaces the traditional pressure nozzle, which relies on water pump pressure and often leads to excessive water and pesticide usage, as well as potential pesticide damage and residues on the land. The mobile chassis can be controlled remotely, allowing the pesticide spraying system to move, while a visual device is employed to detect plants and navigate the spraying area. The AF40-TK UGV is a self-propelled air-fed sprayer tailored for large orchard spraying. Featuring a specialized chassis, it offers highly adjustable spraying heights, covering plant protection operations for fruit and vegetable crops throughout the growth cycle.
